Just picked up a 336CS 30-30 today in around 95 -90% looks like it was bought and put away in the closet and didn`t get oiled much, light rust on the reciver but looks like it will clean up nice.Paid 225 and think its a good deal.What do you think?the oldlady thinks I paid too much.and whats the manufacturing date i looked for the info and can`t find it anywear.The no is #0506xxxx. apreciate all the help Thanks :)

According to the info I have it would be a 1995. Subtract first two numbers of serial # from 2000. A marlin 336CS in good condition for $225.00, sounds like an excellent deal to me. I think you will enjoy your "new toy"! Landngroove.
