Well, Chief RID and I met at the range this morning and I finally got a chance to fire the revolver.  Groups were not impressive 5"-6" @ 25 yards.  Probably the shooter more than the gun itself. After shooting it and reading Marshall's excellant Tech Notes (for the third time) I've decided to fire lap it and need to know how to remove the cylinder, in order to plug it. Can I do this myself or would taking it to a qualified gunsmith be better.  Thanks Mike

Hi, Mike:
  Take out the screw that's on the right side of the frame, under the cylinder. Be sure you've got a good fitting screwdriver, cause it might be real tight. Open the cylinder, lay the gun on it's right side and pull the yoke ahead while holding the cylinder. Reassemble in reverse order. No little springs & parts to worry about.
