Hello I just bought a CIL Model 171 and I need some information about it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

The Model 171 isn't in the 1967 or 1971 catalogs I've got. Most of the C-I-L rimfires were made by Anschutz but I vaguely remember that some were made by Savage or Mossberg. Anschutz guns usually have "Anschutz" stamped on the left side of the action. Is it a bolt action or semi-automatic? If it's a bolt action, single shot, or a repeater? If it's a repeater, clip or tube magazine.?

It is a bolt action detachable clip 5rd magazine.

Whoops, I let this one slip. There were 2 Anschutz actions. The bolt handle is in line with the front of the trigger guard on the economy action, while the better action has the handle in line with the trigger. I think both Anschutz actions had bolt heads that don't turn with the handle. You can disassemble the bolt by turning the head a quarter turn until it slips off.
