Any one have any experience with this gun. I really want to try the .17 HMR and I want to finally get a decent bolt-actio rifle.

I don't have the American in .17HMR, but I do have three CZ's in .22LR. Based on my experience with them, I would say go for it.

The American will set you back a bit more than say a Savage or Marlin, but they seem to be good rifles.
