Here are some good diets that I reccomend if you are trying to loose some weight.

South Beach Diet
This diet is a great diet to go on. It's like the Atkins diet, but you are allowed fruits and vegatables. The thing about this diet is...IT WORKS! My parents are currently on the south beach diet, and they have lost a lot of weight. From what they eat, it doesnt even look like they are on a diet. The nutrition you receive is very healthy too. If your concidering this diet, get the book about it that's written by the scientist who made the diet to learn more.

Atkins Diet
I was on this diet for 3 months. I lost about 40 pounds. After that, I swore to myself that I would eat healthy, so within the next 6 months, I dropped about another 10 pounds. I look and feel great now. But, there are some cons for this diet. It is pretty unhealthy for your body. The nutrition you receive, unlike with the south beach diet, is not good for long periods of time. If you are a teen like me, I strongly say do not do Atkins. Our growing bodies need carbs. I did not research all of the bad things the diet can do to you before I started. Now, I am taking nutrition classes. When I did Atkins, I was very very strict. I only had about 20 net carbs (the carbs that get absorbed into your blood stream, aka bad carbs) a week. I, luckily, did not and am not suffering from malnutrition or anything bad like that though, but it does happen to some people. Another thing is that this diet does not work for everyone, or you can gain it right back after you quit. I've had only good results with this diet, but I still would reccomend the South Beach diet instead. I didn't know of the diet at the time. And I was pretty desperate to loose some weight, so I didn't care what diet I was on.

I will post some pictures of before and after me. I'd do it now, but there are no pictures of me on this computer, and I dont feel like retyping all of what I've written on another computer.

I hope I've helped some of ya out...and if you have some questions I'd be glad to answer them.

A Sea-food diet.

I see food, and I eat it :)

Seriously, in the last couple of years I've had to change my diet as well. Gaining weight, cholesterol / triglycerides up, not good.

Didn't do Atkins, however the doctor recommended cutting out as much sugar as possible. No more Dr. Pepper 3 times a day :( and no more putting sugar into my iced tea until no more would dissolve!

Cut back on beer (figured a little whiskey now and then shouldn't kill me, LOL).

Anyway, with that and some modest exercise, I feel a lot better and dropped some weight.

I don't know what exactly my diet would be considered, but I look at the Atkins and I eat a lot more carbs that that diet, although less than before.

Freezer full of game meat helps too. Not as greasy as the store-bought stuff.

You are pretty thin, but I don't think that you need to gain any weight. I am still trying to get some pictures of me....stupid computer.
