FYI- For those of you who don't already know..
Dan at Mountain Molds www.mountainmolds.com has an online drawing program that allows you to see the cast bullets you design on his site. It's pretty cool to try different dimensions, weights, crimp grooves, # of bands etc..and see how they affect the bullet design.
I'm gonna have him cut me a 260 gr for my .375 whelen. I've heard he does good work and his prices aren't much more than a factory mold from Midway etc..

I've just visited the mountain molds website, pretty cool I've just been playing around with a .358 dia bullet for my .356 that I want to get and it's given me a lot of ideas, for I want something that will hit like a freight train, looking around a 250gr bullet, but yeah it's pretty cool,I suggest every one have a go at it or a look

I highly recomend Dan's work! He designed and cut a 70 caliber mold for my 70-150 rifle project(I believe he shows the bullet on his website now). Very nice workmanship and reasonable prices.

I just had dan at Mountain Molds make me a special .738 diameter 12 gauge slug mold. His work is first class, all surfaces are machined and mated perfectly. My mold borders on overbuilt, it will last longer than any other mold that I have used. His drawing program allows you to design your own bullet, and see it before the mold is made. Other mold makers take your idea, and create their own version of what you want. There is no guessing with his program, whatever you design is what it will be. The value of his molds is excellent, I am ordering another mold tomorrow. Greg Sappington

I've been messing with Dans program for a little while and have conversed a little on-line. The large commercial makers don't offer much variety in bullet weights that I believe will let me get top performance precision/energy from my 14" TC in .41 mag and 357 Herret. Considering I can get what I want (as opposed to what is offered) Dans' prices are way better than great.
Thanks
Jeff
