Anyone use the old Brown Bair three position press? It is not a turret but has three stations and a fair sized frame. It appears to have been blue when new and the primer arm needs some reworking. I would need three shell holders but may set it up for bottleneck cases I don't load much for. Thanks ;) Bandito

Anyone ever heard of the Brown Bair before? Curious to get no bites on this topic with the experience on this board. Later 'Dito

Bandito,

The Bair name goes back to the 1960's. My best recollection is that they were absorbed by Pacific, hence the blue color. Pacific later became part of Hornady which is why you don't see that name anymore.

If I can get an hour on a good lathe I can make the parts I need. If I can get a belt for my minilathe I can make one in the basement at home. Just was wondering. 04 of 04 to 04 of '07, wow. This thread was resurrected from the morgue. But a big thanks for all the info. It is one of the best things about these shooters' boards. Lots of knowledge and folks who don't mind helping. If we could just unite this way to support the Second Amendment. God Bless you all. 'Dito
