Hi, I just got my NEF Handi rifle in .243. Does anyone know what the twist rate for those rifles is? What is the bes tbulet weight that works in them. Thanks

1-10" one rotation every ten inches. i shoot 37 gr of varget with 80 gr speer spitzer, fed case , cci 200 primer. gets 1.25" groups at 100yds. 60 gr sierra hp with 40 gr of varget, neck sized fed case, cci 200 primer gets .75" at 100 yds.

Thanks for the info, I took har out to the range last week end, I loaded 85gr on 39 gr varger and 60 on 39.5 varget, it seems to like the heavier bullet better. I did not measure the groupe but the 85 was with in the inch and trhe 60 was all over the place.
I'll try a different charge with the 60 gr next week.
