I bought a 378 Weatherby, and find it easy to shoot as long the muzzle brake is in place. What I am now wondering is whether a Graco recoil reducer would be a good idea to make the recoil more tolerable when it is not practical to use the brake. If I am hunting from a blind, the brake is no problem. I can easily wear hearing protection then. It is when I would be stalking that it (the brake) should come off. How much difference does the recoil reducer make?
According to the advertisement from Graco, it can be mounted on the 50 BMG. Of course anything can be mounted....the question is whether or not it serves much of a usefull purpose.
Anyone out there have any first hand experience?
