Has anyone worked with the 416 Gates this winter? I was hoping to hear about someone doing this. James or Marshall? Are there any updates? 'Dito

The wildcat, .416 Beartooth, was designed at the requests of some members of this forum. There was quite a bit of research done working up the specs for the Marlin, the rifle it was designed for. I had no plans to build one and only did the design as stated. There was a lot of talk at the time that really came to nothing. It's much like the .44 Mag. Max. (Mad Max) that there seem to be a great deal of interest in for converted marlins......it fell by the wayside also after reamers were bought. I have come to the conclusion that's it's best to leave wildcats alone when dealing with the forum.....James
