Has anyone chronographed the 180 partition yet in the 94?

No, but a 180 grain cast bullet over 14.9 grains of Lil' Gun gets 1,703 fps average in mine.

Haven't yet, but want to. Will try to get a box picked up in the next couple weeks and chrony them. Will post when I do. I have the 1894CP so my figures will be for the 16.25" barrel.

I have a 257 Trapper. Using Lil'Gun and W296, obtaining 1800+ fps with Hornady's 180xtp, and 1775-1790 using a cast 200-gr gas check bullet has been no problem for ME. Charges are 15.5grs. of either powder under the 180gr or 200gr bullets. This out of a 16-inch barrel. Your mileage may vary and I do not endorse these loads for others. Work up from a safe, published, mininum load! Regards.
