some time ago I read a bit about Winchester 1894's issued on the west coast of Canada in WW2-as there was a short fall of Lee-Enfields. These were chambered in .30WCF. I can't find this info. now, can someone give me some links etc? The regiment that had them, how many and the like.

Hi Carignan
These were issued to a group known as the Pacific Rangers. My understanding this group was more of a coast-watcher, Volunteer org. Their 94 Winchester were supplied by the Government and guns were stamped with the C broadhead marking. I just received my Canadian Access To Firearms To-day and there is one of these guns advertised for sale. John
