I just had UPS deliver one of Ruger's Single Six's in the new Hunter Model; 17HMR. Nice looking piece. If it shoots as good as it looks, it will be a great addition to the collection!

It looks very nice, now if they would make it a Super Single Six Hunter with the extra cyclinder for the .17 HM2. That's the one I'm holding out for.

Finally got a range session in. Attached is best effort of 5 shots at 50 yards, from a rest, of course.
Whoops! My pic is too large; I'll have to edit it down and try a resubmit.

Wow! Nice group Gunwriter! Looks mighty accurate. I was eyeballing one of those pieces at the gunstore the other day, I'll have to look into it more now...

I've had the Hunter out to the range a couple more times, and that group I shot isn't a "fluke." Seems like it's just a darned tight hand gun, and a real keeper. Definitely worth a second or third look!
