bullets. It lets you get 223 rifle sp type power, into a ccw pistol, and still control it. The means consists of a hollowbased, 70 gr bullet, at 2300 fps in a 4" barrel. That's 800 ft lbs, and it's quite impressive on animals. The hollowbased, 90 gr swc, at 2100 fps ismore of a hunting load. The 70 gr bullet is a 3 segment prefrag, for defensive use. I have no interest whatsoever in the normal wt bullets in the 460. They have much too much recoil, and are very hard on the gun. My versions are quite as controlable as .45 ACP ball, making them perfectly feasible for use in alloy compact pistols.

Seven,
I'm assuming you're using sabot loads......are these handloads, or factory loads? Where do you get components? Who makes the factory load? What powders do you use??

They are not Sabot loads, If you want more info check out CLARK CUSTOM GUNS, they are the distributors of the kits and one of the sellers of the ammo.
I used to have a CCU Carbine Conversion Unit, for the 1911 in the 460 Rowland Chambering, and it was a really cool round, I hope one of these days to get a 45ACP barrel for my LAR Grizzly and rechamber it, to 460 rowland.
Let me know if you need more info.
