My old S&W M-29 needs a tune-up. It is a little hard to open (latch is hard to push) and timing is not great. Who other than S&W does good work on these?

I've had Alpha Precision work on several 29's and am very pleased with the results. He (Jim Stroh) is typically recognized as one of the top gun smiths and I sure agree.

FWIW: My NIB model 629 had a cylinder timing problem and I sent it back to the factory. It was returned to my doorstep in four days, repaired. You might call S&W. They will send you a free package shipping label.
