Has there been a report on the blue 45 S&W available now? This new gun would have some weight to it compared to the Mt. gun and I am curious as to some owner`s comments.

The only .45 Colt S&W shows on their web site is the Mountain gun configuration. Looks kind of like a Mdl 24.

Does look nice though. If I could get past that hidious lock on the side of the frame I might be tempted.

I think it's absolutely gorgeous! I'm not sure the stocks would be what I wanted, but they sure are purty. Gee, I just sold my 44 Special, and I've always wanted a 45 Colt........hey Honey............ ;)

If only it had a heavy barrel instead of the tapered one <sigh>...

I like the model 25, but I agree that the tapered barrel is inferior to the heavy barrel. Long Beach (CA) PD has just authorized this for carry by uniformed personnel. Good move IMHO.
