My son, SPC Shaun Loun was injured this am in Karbala, This time he was hit in his hands with fragments from an RPG fired at his unit. They advised he was seen by a medic, bandaged and returned to duty. My wife got a call from him this am and the connection was so bad she had no idea he had been wounded again. Will post more when I hear from him. We were notified by the Dept. of Army Causulty Operations and when I said again? they let me know they had no record of the first one. Now I have to find out what is going on or I am sure they will not give credit for the first injury. Anyone know if the rule allowing you to pick your duty station still applies like it did for Kerry?????

Hey Sure-Shot... why don't you email Kerry and ask? I sure wish he would get sent home. Tell him if he gets Fort Hood or somewhere in Texas I will give him a key to my gate for the deer season.

Well talked to my son again and found out he was in the dome of the Mosque they took as it was being used to shoot from and they found a large cache of weapons there. He said they were being fired at from another building and shot grenades back. He wasn't sure if he was hit by a chunk of RPG or one of their own grenades. But it was a small piece and went through his left hand without hitting any bones down near the fingers (it had to have eyes not to hit bone) said all they did was put a bandage on each side and send him back to work. He had to end the call as he was leaving on another patrol. In any event I believe the prayers have protected him so thank you for the ones you have sent.

The Ranch Dog family will keep the prayers flowing. May the love and mercy of Jesus Christ protect him and his brothers while bringing comfort to his mom and dad!
