I am in the market for a good quality .22Lr bolt action. I looked at this litte CZ...... it looks good....feels good....and wears a $293 price tag. My hand trembled and almost reached for the Visa card.

Should I say no to this little vixen and keep looking or will the CZ satisfy my desire for a well made accurate .22?

I use .22s for snake control at my Dad's fishin ponds. My most recent weapon of choice was a Ruger 10/22 but my wife somehow acquired it with the use of some big sad-eyed looks and a platter of biskitts N gravy.

What would you guys Buy? Gotta have some parameters I guess.... bolt action, accurate and under 500 bucks.

I have the CZ 452 American, and it is real reliable and accurate. It is my squirrel rifle of choice, and it looks good. I also have a Kimber Hunter which seems a bit more accurate, but is a little over your budget. (599) If you can afford the Kimber, get it. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed with the CZ.
