I have an old El Paso Weaver K4 which may have developed a seperation of the objective lens segments, so I'm told. There used to be a former Weaver employee in El Paso that was doing repair work on the Weaver line after the El Paso operation shut down. He installed a German reticle in a K3 which is still going strong as a twilight and sunset scope. The K4 was used the same way with its post and crosswire reticle. Does anyone know if this person is still in operation? I have misplaced his name and address. Is there anyone else outthere who is doing dependable work on the old Weaver scopes? I have been told that the new Weaver operation does not have the parts to repair the old scopes.

Kdub,
I have searched this topic for the past year and cannot find any reference to the guy in El Paso who was repairing Weaver scopes. Can you be more specific with your reference?

Kdub,
Found it. Problem was that I have to scroll the messages to the far right to read. When I scrolled down I was looking at the forum title not the thread title. Thanks for your help.
