kid,
Those factory sights suck, huh? I just can't bring myself to put a scope on a 92. Have you considered a receiver sight? I'm putting a Williams FP94/36 on mine and a fiber optic front. I think it will extend the sighting range to the limits of the cartridge. I have seen mounts for the Puma on gunbroker, so it is apparently dooable. Let us know what you do and post some pictures. I wanna see a big 6-24x50 varmint scope on there :D.

2x was more in the way i was thinking.are going to have to drill and tap yours for the Williams FP94/36 and what does the sight look like.i need a better sight it does not have to be a scope but would be great if i did not have to have off it see the gunsmith, thanks, keith

Keith,
Yes, two d&t holes on the left side of the receiver are required. Easy enough for the home gunsmith.
Marshall posted this pic of a Lyman 66A on his 92...

The Williams is similar w/o the screw adjustments and to me, has a cleaner look. Most folks prefer the older Lymans because they're all steel... sadly, that's no longer the case.
I'm going to try to link to a pic of the Williams 94/36 from the Midway site...
