I am looking for a good reloading source for the 260 rem, 6.5X55 and the 308 win., one that will civer a wide varity of powders & bullets by weight and manufacture providing csi and or cup for the loads. It is hard to tell from discriptions which books/manuals provide what information and I have no nearby location that carries reloading books that I can brouse to see if they cantain the information I need.

Tons of data on the internet:

Hodgdon:

http://www.hodgdon.com/data/rifle/index.php

Winchester:

http://www.winchester.com/products/catalog/components/reloadertoc.aspx

Alliant/Hercules:

http://recipes.alliantpowder.com/index2.html

That should be a good start.

You ever try Loadbooks (http://www.bosesguns.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1384)? It's all the information from all the sources put together for a single caliber. It's quite handy and I've got them for every caliber I shoot. I guess they don't cover the 260 Rem., but they do have them for the 6.5 X 55 and 308 Win.

The best single source loading manual I've used for years for reference is the Lyman manual. Have just about all others printed on the shelf also, but the Lyman is the absolute best for the info you're seeking. Lists both jacketed and cast loads equally.

It must just be me, but I find that the Lyman manual, newest, does not cover the or powders bullets I use most. Every once in a while they will provide loadings that I have components for, but as a rule, in my experience, it is just not much help. I find that Lee's book covers most all powders and bullet weights available for each caliber. Websites such as those suggested above are also good sources.

My suggestion to you is the Lee book (has all three calibers you suggest), Nosler (has all three, but is brand specific). Lyman does contain all three calibers, but as mentioned bullet weights and powders are limited.

Good Luck.
