Have you guys seen this ,nice looking rifle,26in. barrel ,blue or stainless,looks like a winner.

No, I haven't seen or heard of it before. I didn't find it on the TaurusUSA website, either. Let us in on the secret.

Believe there was a mention (and photo) of it in the last American Rifleman. A Colt Ligntening clone, aimed at the coyboy shooters. IF it's too true to the original, won't be for warmish loads....but I like the idea.

I'm not into CAS but I have the April issue of "The Cowboy Chronicle" and there's an advertisement by United States Fire Arms Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT, which shows their Lightning Magazine Rifle. It's available in three chamberings, 45 Colt, 44-40, and 38-40.

The taurus is projected to sell for a lot less...believe either $425 to $475 suggested retail?

May be a good seller if it ever really sees the light of day at near that price. As much as I like lever guns, have an old 32-20 pump and run side by side, the pump is faster. Not real important in anything but games playing, but CAS is all about the game.
