BTW, I celebrated by attending all three rememberances in our local area. The one put on by the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone tribe was the best, with tents and eats. (I missed going to the Civil War Re-enactment at Fort Churchill, our Civil War fort down at Silver Springs altho I wanted to.) Anyway, it struck me a just empty ceremony if we, as a people, don't back it by looking after the widows and orphans left by those who paid a high price.
