Does anyone know if the Lyman Acculine Reloading Press can be used as a hand press? It looks like it has hand grips but it also looks like it should be mounted to a bench.
I assume it would take standard dies?
For those who have them, what kind of hand presses do you use?
Boy - ! You almost had me there for a moment, Flashhole. Had to do a double take.
Was scrounging around in the gunroom this afternoon for lack of something better to do, and surfaced a brand new Lyman Pistol Accumeasure that was purchased off the internet, shelved and then promptly forgotten some years ago.
Wonder if "Accu" was a named used for a certain line of their equipment?
The conversion chart for the changeable rotors is dated 3/87, so maybe this is still in their lineup and maybe not. Sent them an email for availability of more rotors. Some stocking clerk will probably be scratching his head! :D

The Acculine can be used either way. Reverse the linkage to use it as a hand press. IMO it leaves a little bit to be desired as a hand press. I've got mine bench mounted and use it with a universal decapping die, which it gets along with fine. Resizing on it as a hand press was semi-gruesome. I like the Lyman 310 tong tool alot better. Time proven design but different dies needed. They Acculine uses standard dies, which is a plus...
