Bought a Remmington 597 22lr a couple weeks ago. Shooting the Golden Bullet hp at crows and black birds 65 - 70 yrs. Good little shooting gun. Good weight to it so its steadier. Anyway whats wrong with these magazines. They don't seem to feed smoothly. A 10 rd mag that seems to work best with 5-6 rds? I don't know. Anyone having similar experience with this magazine? Thanks

Kramsey, you might check at rimfire central.com for info on your mag problem. I think I saw several posts on that same problem there. Remington seems to have some problems with the mags on their newer 22 rifles, even the new $700.00 one. Great little gun. I hope you work out the problems with it. Good shooting
