View Full Version : Beartooth Bullets Availability/Turn-Around Time

We've worked fervently to reduce the backlog time on our orders, between the order and ship dates. That effort, combined with our annual seasonal spring reprieve, has allowed around a 10 day turn-around time, on most bullets, with many of the more popular large caliber, heavy bullets available for immediate shipment.
For those of you wanting bullets for hunting season, this situation will change beginning usually about the first to fifteenth of August, as the crunch for fall hunting bullets hits. So, for the time being, I can turn your orders relatively quickly at the current time.
Thanks to all, and I hope this is a help to some of you fine folks here on the forums.
God Bless,

Hey, I got my bullets in short order and a copy of the New Testament too! I guess the message is that if I pray really hard them bullets will fly straighter, right?

God Bless,
Marshall,
Two years ago you said you would send me some bullets I could use for my .38/55. You remember don't you. The bullets I had purchased for the .38/55 had a large ogive that prevented the loaded round from chambering when the bullet was seated to the nominal overall length. You said you thought you had something that would work and would send them along shortly. That was April of 2002, if I remember correctly. I had the same problem with bullets for the .348 too. Well, I am still waiting. The backlog can't be that bad, could it?
Ciao,
Carlino

I'd guess it just got lost in the shuffle. I think that Marshall may be out for a couple of days, send him a PM and that should get you back on track!
There's been a server crash or two in the interim, and one one of those occasions I think that all of the PM accounts were lost. Not an excuse, just a lot of water has gone under the bridge in that timeframe.
Sounds like turnaround shouldn't be a problem now, unless his announcement triggers a flood of orders.....

Mike,
What is a "PM"?
I sent Marshall a letter reminding him of his commitment in April, 2004. I guess that got lost in the shuffle too.

I have been looking to get some 465s for my .500 S&W, but I can't find any load data for them. Do you have any data available or is it trial and error?

I don't know about others, but I called Beartooth about some bullets that were not in the book. Marshall answered the phone himself. We discussed bullets for the 45/70 (what else?).
The outcome was that the bullets arrived in VERY short order.
They were the best I have used.
