How is the moose hunting in the Fairbanks/North Pole Area?

i took a 35 incher near north pole you relly got to look for them the week before hunting season they all just disapear you find cows all day but it took me three days to find a bull.

How is the moose hunting in the Fairbanks/North Pole Area?

There's lots of pressure anywhere near ATV trails and navigable rivers, but the moose are there.

Hunted up the Steese 4 year in a row. The first 2 we got 3 moose. Then didn't see a bull the last 2. Not a bad average! In my opinion if the caribou come through before moose opens forget about it. As said earlier the 4 wheelers are all over the place chasing the boo and scare every moose out of the area. After that I figured I would go where people couldn't drive. If I was living in Fairbanks I would have a jet boat and
explore the river systems or just save your money and do fly-ins.
