All Opions welcome Pros and cons of the BFR revolvers. The 475/480 is what am looking at but comments on the revlover itself more important.

Great guns.......there's an article on my website that covers the BFR's history and features.

I have used a BFR 454 for several years and like it. There is one in 475/480 at the gunshop for a good price but I haven't convinced myself that it has to come home. They are a good value for the money, about 1/3 the cost of a Freedom arms. Not quite as slick or well finished but it always shoots.
Note: loctite the screws in the frame, they will back out when using heavy loads.

So what is a good price, the one here is a 7.5inch and is marked 899.00. and would have to add a bit to lop the barrel 5.5inch would be perfect

I have a BFR in 500MAG. It is a very well made gun and a blast to shoot. It is very accurate and well balanced. I sold my S&W500 MAG and kept my BFR instead, just my personal preference. :D
Also I had Mag-na-port cut the barrel to 5 1/4 inches and mag-na-port the gun. I did not lose any accuracy.
