View Full Version : LAser sight
Hi all, a friend of mine gave me a laser site for my Beretta 92FS. It's one of those trigger guard mount types. I installed it on my gun and was just curious as to how to adjust the sighting of it. It came with no paperwork, not even sure what brand it may be though he never used it. Should the beam be adjusted to match the front sight? Above it, below it...thanks....mack

I sighted mine with my laser bore sight and the target that came with it. The same way that I sight in my scopes.

Hey Mack, you sure have a lot of generous friends, what else do they have that they don't want anymore? Give 'em my address, you're getting too many new toys! (Yeah, as if THAT'S possible!) ;)

Well after a weekend of shooting (or attempting to shoot) with the trigger mount laser sight...It goes back in the box and I know why my friend gave it to me...As some had stated...junk....I could not get the darned thing to stay tight no matter what I tried, including locktite, nail polish, crazy glue etc. It made it through about 4 ounds before it backed off and dropped.
It was just a whim...don't really need it anyway.....mack

Mack that's probably why he gave it to you, it didn't work for him either.
If i was going to give a friend something that was not working for me properly i would at least tell them about it. Then if it didn't work for them I can atleast say they were warned about it.
