Hi Guy`s,
What a suprise I had when I woke up today.I was surounded by my two kids and atacked with kisses and hugs. When the attack was over the cards came out.Inside of the one card from my favorite woman was a receipt for a Pact PC2 shooting chronograph.Just what I needed.Last year I was working up a sabot load in my 50cal muzzle loader and killed my cheaper chronograph.I have been looking and looking for one but just couldn`t justify buying one. This fathers day will go down as one of the best.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the PC2.

I can`t wait to shoot some of my worked up loads from my 35 remington through this gal and see what there doing.

Sounds like a great Father's Day, 10x -

My PC2 is around 7-8 years old. It works a lot better than the Chrony Master Beta that it replaced. I permanently mounted the screw plate from a heavy video camera tripod to the screen bar to make it easier to set up. Used black electrican's tape to tape the leads approx. every 10" to keep them corraled together. Painted a white mark on the lead for the front sensor and it's plug-in on the back of the control box so they are easy to identify. Best results are when the leads are strung out and resting on the ground with just enough slack to rest without tension (usually places the front sensor 13 - 15 feet from muzzle). This saves the sensors from muzzle blast and unburnt powder kernals, especially when shooting muzzleloaders. A piece of clear tape over the sensors will add additional protection from such.

Also have an Oehler 35P, which is a bigger pain to set up, but gives absolutely best chronographing.

Have a HP infrared printer for the PC2 that is surplus, if your's didn't come with one.

Enjoy!
