Hello,
Will RCBS for a 358 Win. work in a Lee Hand Press? I would hate to have to buy an additional set of dies for it if not. Thanks for any input guys.

Chris,
Yes, any 7/8 X 14 dies work in the Lee hand press. I use my hand press for most of my loading tasks. Be advised that the .307 and .356/.358 require a good case lube such as Imperial size die wax.

I have used RCBS, Lyman and ch4d dies in my Lee hand press. I do find I have to re-adjust them if I have used them in my bench mounted Lyman. As suggested take a little more care lubing especially inside case neck area.

Slim and Eric,
Thanks fella's! I would have asked you about this earlier Slim but you have already helped me so much. I have the vision of you in front of your TV doing your handloading and just can't quite help but pick one of these up. It is only 17 bucks from Midway. How did they pull that one off? Thanks again fellas and God Bless. Chris

Your vision is 20-20 Chris! I prep brass and size and lube bullets on the hearth in front of the fireplace.
For most of our pistol ammunition my wife dips powder with a Lee or home made dipper while I seat bullets. If you have your brass prepped in advance it is easy to load small batches.
I have mounted a Lyman 450 sizer on a "shoeshine" box with a big footprint and size bullets while watching Dr. Who or playing board games. The box used to be pictured in the Lyman catalogs.
I once nearly cut my thumb off while watching Jimmy Stewart in "You Gotta Stay Happy." This movie introduced Ma and Pa Kettle. Very funny but you need to pay attention to you knitting! I do not watch television while dipping powder.
Back on topic - I use the Lee case sizining lubricant for the insides of my case necks. This is a die makers wax and very useful. With the Lee hand press, proper lubrication makes all the difference between an easy evening and WORK.
Maybe when your boys start bulking up you can put them to work!
