Recently I had a Powder called AA5 recommended to me for use in a 7/8 oz slug load. I believe that this was an Accurate powder, but, I can find no reference for it in their 2003 Powder guide nor on their web site under current products. Can anyone give me more information on this? Is it still available or is there a replacement. thanks in advance. rc

Is Acurate AA5 the same as Accurate N0.5? I can find references to AA5 with a label that shows AA5 on it. If its the same, good. I may have to call Accurate Powder and ask.

It is the same. AA5 is just short for A(ccurate) A(rms) (#) 5.

Most definitely better to ask. There are too many similarly-named powders to just guess!

Yep, never feel silly asking about powders- there are some with similar names, that AIN'T.
Feeling a bit silly is better than having fingers sewn back on......
