Any of you guys got one of these? They seem like they could be pretty good, having a one piece tube and fully multi coated lenses. But the price, about $150, seems too low for a scope of any real quality.

I've had one about six months. My youngest son has it on his .17HMR. So we don't know how it will stand up to recoil.
Clarity and brightness seemed good. So far no complaints.
He plans on mounting it on his .50 cal muzzle loader this fall for deer hunting.

Not much help, I know.

I have a couple 1-3's, and a 4-16 (V3 and V16). Several fellows I deer hunt with love the V3, and we've been using them for years for brush hunting. Nobody has one on a real severe kicker, but I can tell you that the V3 will stand up to 30-06 level recoil for at least 15 years- as well as the normal wear and tear of rifles that get used.
The V16 has performed well on a varmint rifle.
I think the V series is an excellent buy- not quite as much scope as a Leupold, Burris, Nikon,Weaver GS, etc., but not as much $, either. The Weaver V's are good value, IMO

Thanks for the info, fellas. I'm tempted to try one of the new V7s on my Marlin .35 Rem. Graf & Sons has them for about $150. If I do, I'll post on it.

If you haven't already done this, Natchez just put them on sale for $140.

Thanks, Fullchoke. I've got a line on a nice used Leupold Vari-X II 2x7 but if it doesn't work out, I'll probably buy the Weaver.

I've got a weaver 2.5-10. I also got a simmons ATEC I got a Wallmart for about 160.00 To tell the truth the ATEC is a lot brighter and has a bigger field of view. I do understand that the other varibles from weaver are better scopes. I think they have dropped the 2.5-10 from their line. Good luck on your scope search.
