I have a 20 ga 870 wingmaster that I want to get a 28 or 26 inch V.R. barrel for...PROBLEM... my gun was made with a 12 ga magazine tube. Is there anywhere to get one? Can I buy a modern barrel and send it off to have the lug ring changed off the old barrel? HELP !!!

hi,i have run into this before,the mag tube support ring can be changed from a 12 to a 20 with some work,there close enough so everything is still inline with itself.i don't have any extra barrel parts right now,but a blown 12 ga. barrel with a good mag tube support ring is easy to find,check with your local gunshops.you can order a barrel through most sporting good shops or your local gunshop.

BY GOSH I found one... at a gun show here in Richmond... I can't believe it.. brand new in box.
