I was looking at a box of Buffalo Bore 305 grain L.B.T-L.F.N. and I see on the box that it says" Use ONLY in Ruger, Colt Anaconda, Freedom Arms, Dan Wesson revolvers, and TC, Winchester 94 and Marlin 94 rifles.

I was reading on here somewhere about the 1894 being fussy about overall length. These are 1.69 overall.

Will they feed in my 1894SS?

At 1325 fps out of a revolver, they should be plenty powerful in a rifle for deer hunting.

What do you think?

Thanks

My reloads at 1.660" would not feed in my 1894 / .45 Colt, FYI. It is the version with the cross-bolt safety and has not had any of the cartridge carrier modifications for longer rounds.

I just spoke with Tim, at BB and he said they will feed just fine.

1.690 or 1.590? Might want to check those - 1.590 is SAAMI spec, I think, or very close.

Maybe I'm not reading it right, but my mic reads 1.69

It measures 1 11/16th with a ruler

Well, interesting, let us know if they work.
