I have one. I like it very much. The wood and stainless contrast is beautiful. I have had virtually no problems with my gun. It is more accurate than the older 336 I bought in my youith. The only con I can think of is that the stainless may well be all weather, but I have always recognized that the stock is not. I sealed it and feel somewhat better about it on my wet pig hunts. My gun shoots particularly well with 170gr. jacketed and just about any cast bullet I have put down it. Many claim that microgroove can't shoot lead. This one has prooved them wrong. I still am planning on lapping it, although it may not really warrant it. I bought it two years ago this week. I have shot 2 pigs, 3 deer and several varmints with it. It is also a great plinking gun, with its very light recoil.

Get one, u wont regret it! I have a 336CS and a 336SS and as well as several other guns, my 336SS is my favourite! It shoots slightly under 1" @ 100yrds with a 170gr Hornady load doing 2220fps avge and is a great looker! I couldnt be happier with a levergun!
