Two things that happened in the last 24 hours, last night on Fox news We got to see our son in the live firefight they filmed in Karbala back in May. Today we saw the flag cerimony for the 1st Armored Division preparing to leave Iraq after the longest tour of any troops there (15 months). Shaun, recently promoted to Sgt. and will be pinned in August, has to go back to Germany and get the base squared away and will then be coming home on leave and should be in here around July 21st. (Fingers crossed nothing changes). He still has three years in the Military as he enlisted for five years. He won't transfer to a new duty station untill October this year.

To all who have had him in their prayers, thank you.
To those who are still there, Thank You and may god keep you all safe.

This weekend is the appropriate time to be thinking about and thanking those brave soles that put themselves at risk. Please let your son know that his folks aren't the only ones thankful and proud.
