I was wondering what the pressure was with a 395 gr. LBT over 20. grains of W-296 out of my .45 Redhawk. Recoil wasn't bad and there were not any signs of undue pressure..Thanks for any information.

I was quoted as having pressures in the mid 40,000 cup range with a load of 27.0-28.0 of H-110 with a 300gr LBT from Beartooth. I don't know what the nose to crimp length is of that bullet or if you had a compressed charge, if you can get that information it might help a little toward finding out an answer for you. Those Redhawk's are brute strong and H-110 or 296 work best under a  mildly compressed charge. But as usual start low and work up to the level you feel you need.

God Bless
