My son called from Germany at 0449 this a.m. he has leave as of 7-21 and is flying home for 27 days.
Prayers said for all our troops and our allies in harms way. And thank you for the many prayers.
I couldn't go back to sleep and I can't get this smile off my face.
Very good news indeed. And hopefully the future holds many good family times together.....and not just for 27 days.

Anytime a son/daughter calls with news like that is the best time. Keep the smile going , and enjoy being a family again.

Great news Randy! You always hate a phone call at those hours but this is the exception. I'm glad he is on his way home.

My son got home this a.m. just after midnight. Will be here for the next 27 days. We are going to the WAC gun show in Puyallup Saturday morning, then a big bar-b-que in the evening. Thanks for all the kind comments and I will make sure Shaun gets a chance to read them all.
