Anyone have problems getting answers (e-mails) from CSA?I've e-mailed them 3 times trying to findout the thread size for the eyepiece on a Ideal sporting tang sight I purchased from them a couple of years ago. No response over about a 10 month period. I'm beginning to think the sight may be foriegn made because the eyepiece from my Lyman receiver sight(7/32x40) doesn't fit .Same diameter/different thread pitch. Metric maybe? Can anyone help?

I have read that some of the c-sharps sights were the ukran sights . I think they are thesights from canada. They are listed in most single shot mag,s . Lee shaver has most eye pieces for most tang sights. Just looked it up PARTS UNKNOWN INC.. Bufflo arms might have the eye piece they have a web sight.

Thanks 445 Supermag. The bad part of this is that I was led to believe these are made in the USA, being told they were made by his (the proprietor) friend.O'well. Never again. The other Big Timber MT. Sharps from now on. I know from experience they are very,VERY accommodating ! Thanks again, Copen

I have bought 2 c-sharps 40/65 and a 50/90 bouth 75 models but not there tang sights. It looks like there barrel sights are the metal smith sights. The 40 globe sight i got from bufflo arms and is the only one that that had a 7/16 dovetail whitch c-s has . The 50 i had him cut the dovetail to 3/8 so i could have a larger selection of sights. The 50/90 was made with a 1-3/4 barrel the heavy barrel. The but stock was upgraded from standerd an it sure had figure but the finish was bad. Fit was perfict. They wanted me to send it back. NO way i was afrade they might change the butstock. I just wet sanded it off and put oil on it. Come this winter i will refinish it. I have never had problems calling them but did get a story each time about what had to be done before it was finished. Said it was 3months to build but it took 5 and all of five. The 40/65 was a shop rifle but it took 3 weeks for it to arrive at the gun shop.
