Im considering buying a Bulgarian AK (7.62x53R) from guns-n-stuff online. SKU is SLR101S-1. Has anyone had any experience from this outlet? Is the price of $270 for a NEW rifle of this type a good bargain or a sign of trouble. Has anyone had any experience with Bulgarian AKs and know of their accuracy capabilities? The web address is

Yep.....got one...make sure you get a sight tool..buy some bear ammo and shoot it...it is a good fun gun for 125 meters or so....the trigger is awful though...check with Brownells for a fix to that...

Thanks, Ill order it this weekend :)
With regards to poor AK47 and 74 triggers. Tapco has replacement Fire control groups that were designed by Gordon Technologies... G2 FCG for $39.95. They are easy to install. In my SLR-95 (Bulgarian AK-47), the G2 yields a great trigger. 3.5# and sweet 2 stage. If you AK trigger is poor, the G2 is very possibly the answer.
