Hi!,
I just bought a Mannlicher-Schoenauer in 6.5 X 54ms. I'm at my wit's end, trying to find loads, not to mention brass. Finally, I found brass in the Huntington catalog and, I ordered it. Does anybody have a source for loads? Thank you very much!
The Hornady 5th Edition reloading manual has listings from 95 gr to 160 gr bullets.

Many, many thanks to Kdub and Jack. Lots to explore. I'll try to run down some of those old articles!

It doesn't look god for our 6.5MS. Seems Norma has dropped it for new cases. The other European stuff is beastly expensive and hard to get.
Keep in mind that the 6.5 Carcano is the same case with a slightly shorter neck. The books are still publishing Carcano loads and if the Carc. can do it, so can the MS. Pepe Ray
There's a very good- and extensive- article in Ken Waters book 'Pet Loads' on reloading the 6.5x54.
Check with Wolfe Publishing- you may be able to buy a reprint of that article without having to buy the whole book.

Hello Pepe,
Thanks for the reply. I'm so new to anything more than pulling on a progressive press for pistol reloads that I don't know exactly what you mean. Can I buy 6.5 Carcano and use them in my rifle? I'd appreciate your guidance very much.
Thanks,
