Has anyone here tried the Fire-fly series of scopes from Bushnell? I am wondering how long the "charge" lasts. Where I hunt, deer do not start moving until sunset and it would be very practical to have to shine a light on the scope shortly before having to shoot. I also wonder if the cross-hairs would get too bright in certain conditions. Any thought/feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I looked at the Elite Firefly, but decided on the Leupold VXII instead. I didn't care for the thickness of the crosshairs on the Firefly.

I just bought an Elite 3200 3x9x40 with the firefly rectile. I first read to only shine the light on the eyepiece for 2 mins, well that yielded a 13 min glow. The other day I read somewhere to shine the light on for 10 mins. This produced a 35min glow, thats good enough for me.
