I am looking to get into CAS. i do not want to spend a lot of $$ to strt with and noticed the Millenium for sale at Cabela's. the gun is made by Uberti. Does anyone have any info on that revolver.

Also what is a good cal. to choose.

Well Pard, saddle up and let's go!

The Cabella's shooter is just fine to start with. It's made by Uberti (as most all of the Colt clones are). Dependin' on which class ya want to shoot in, I'd say get yerself a pair of 'em in .38/.357 mag.

Cartridges are cheap and you can shoot in several different classes with 'em.

I've been shootin' CAS for more'n a half a decade and started with Ruger Vaquero's in .38/.357. Still got 'em and still shoot 'em once in a while.

I mostly now use some Ruger Bisley Vaqueros in .45 Colt and shoot in the "Classic Cowboy" class. Jest a ton 'o fun!!
