I'm in the process of trading for a .350 Mag and would like some homebrewed favorite loads. The platform is a Ruger tang safety 22" rifle and I'll probably be using 200 to 225 grain bullets. Thanks in advance, Edwin.

Hello Brother Edwin,
An Old ruger? Congrats on your good luck!
I'll have to get my little brown book out, but I have a few that are dandies. Whatever the listed Max Horn load for IMR 3031 57 point something.....and a 200 Grain spitzer put three holes together at 100 yards. Also with that very lot flattened a Kentucky Whitetail that weighed 170 pounds dressed. The bullet was recovered in the hide, was expanded past the cannelure on one side, to it on the other, and kept 150 some odd grains. Mighty good bullet.
Other good powders are 4320, Win 748, and Accurate 2520. I am told on very good authority that a max load of the accuratte will get an honest 3000 fps with the 200 grainer. I have a few loaded, but precious little shooting time these days, so they sit there and wait.
Like the Nosler 225s for med range shots, and the 250s for close. Ball powders give a fellow more room for the big bullets, and if memory serves my 250 Grainers are over 748, magnum primer.
Good luck, friend, I'll send you my data when I can get back home.

i have been using 52.5 grains of 3031 under a Hornady 200 grain bullet lit by a CCI 250 primer to get less than 1" groups at 100 yds with my REM 600 with Redfield 2X scout scope. you'll wanna work up to this one, as it's only 1.5 grains below max (in my Sierra Bullets Second Edition manual).
i'm working on a load for the Nosler 225 grain partition but haven't tested these enuf to reccomend yet.

Many years ago when i was loading and shooting the 350 I found with 225gr bullets that BR2015 ( it's now called XMR2015) was the best choice.

Ive got an old 600 and a new 673 and both love the 225gr Nosler with 54grs of IMR 3031 with a Fed 210M primer. Both of mine will shoot 1" groups at 100yrds all day long with this load.

LEE still makes the dies but you might have to contact them by phone or web site to get them. I checked there web site they are $29.95 + $4.00 SH.

I guess the next question is .............. How much for the dies and brass? Do you need any dies that we might be able to swap?

I have 2 loads that I use in my 600 carbine. With the 225gr Nosler partition I use 60gr of IMR 4895 for 2675fps. For the 250gr Nosler partition I use 58gr of IMR 4895 for 2550fps. These are safe in my gun but may not be in yours so work up carefully etc. I haven't bothered to work up any others these shoot fine and are as fast as anything I have seen for the cartridge/rifle combo I have.
