I recently picked up an 8mm-06, a converted '98. I have some Sierra .323 175 gr bullets but I don't have any reloading information for these bullets. Does anyone have a load? I have IMR4320 and IMR4350 on hand. Along the same line, can someone make a recomendation on what to do if I have reloading ionfmation for another bullet, from another manfacteur ina slightly diffrent weight. In this case I have information from Speer for a 170 grain?

here are two loads that I use in an 8mm-06 that use the Sierra 175 gr. soft point and the two powders that you mention...

CASE: W-W 30-06

PRIMER: Federal 210

POWDER: IMR-4350 / 56.0gr

BULLET: Sierrs 175 gr. soft point

VELOCITY: 2,420 fps.

POWDER: IMR-4320 / 51.0gr.

BULLET: Sierra 175 gr. soft point

For other bullet weights, you can start with load data for the 8X57 Mauser and work up from there or go to the SPEER #13 loading manual as it lists specific loads for the 8mm-06...
