My Snider's, a MkII** Canadian 'Cadet' carbine(1864) and a MkIII sporter(1871) both in 577 Snider.
My full/complete Martini-Henry MkIV(1886) in 577/450.

yes, it's a good rifle to. I am a bit more partial to the Snider's-but the Martini outshoots them easy and delivers more fpe downrange.

Aren't those Snider carbines just a joy to shoot.......NOT!
Man they leap around.
We shoot them and MH's over here in NZ and have a ball.

CBK, yes they can be a handfull!! They are sure fun though.
The sporter is fairly light to, not like a full wood stock, recoil can be heavy, but not uncomfortable really.
