I picked up a new toy today, it's a K77/22VHZ. It was a 22 Hornet but has been rechambered for the K Hornet. I got the rifle, dies and about 300 cases already fire formed to the chamber. Its the 35deg K Hornet set for the .224 bullets. I got it for $350, now its time to get out the press and start playing with my new toy. My problem is I only have one reloading book that gives data on a K Hornet, and its an old Speer and that data is for the 40deg K Hornet. Anybody have or know where I might get some reloading data on this round, I need some kind of a base line to go by with modern componets. I really dont want to go through too much trial and error reloading. And I dont have a chronograph right now my old one gave up the ghost and I havent replaced it yet. So any info would be helpful.

You might try calling Hornady, they seem to be very helpful and there automated phone system is pretty funny to listen to as well. Of course, you will have to use their bullets

The 5th edition of the Hornady reloading manual lists loads for the 22K Hornet.
