I picked up a 357 Marlin rifle recently. I looked down the barrel and it is not micro-groove. The barrel is not stamped with micro-groove on the outside either. I guess the barrel has ballard rifling. Does anyone know how accuracy will be with ballard rifling?

The accuracy will be outstanding!

The riflling in both of my 1894 .357's has the ballard rifling. Both of mine have exceptional accuracy with both jacketed and especially lead bullets. I just don't think I would want one with the microgroove. However, I like to plink a lot with lead bullets too!!
