I see Cabelas is selling S&B bulk slugs and buckshot for a pretty attractive price. Has anyone used any S&B shotshells and wants to comment on quality?
Thanks Andy
PS I think the clear casings are a good idea at least.

Picked up a couple of hundred rounds of buckshot at a local gun show..the same price I'd have paid by ordering and paying shipping, just saved me the time. Nothing bad to say about it...not corrosive, patterns about the same as any other non-buffered buckshot load...recoil is about equal to other's full power loadings.

Used in SXS's and one O/U, so can't comment on how well they'll function in a semi-auto...recoil felt identical to WW loads so would assume functioning would not be a problem.

I've never used the rounds you ask about. But I have been shooting the 12ga Sporting clays round for three years. No problems in any of my shotguns. They cycle perfectly in my A-5 with the friction rings set for hi-power loads. I use this round as a field load for dove.

I also shoot the 20ga and 28ga field loads with no problems. The 20ga. field load works fine in my A-5 Magnum.

I keep buying them,as I haven't had any problems.
